Learning has always been at the center of my work.

​

For more than twenty-five years, I have combined education, technology, media production, and storytelling to create learning experiences that inspire curiosity, build competence, and drive meaningful change. Along the way, I have been a teacher, instructional designer, project manager, video producer, educational technologist, lifelong learner, and enthusiastic problem solver. Each role has shaped the way I think about learning—and reinforced my belief that great learning experiences have the power to transform lives.

My career has taken me from K–12 education and teacher professional development to higher education, healthcare, workforce development, and global online learning initiatives. Regardless of the audience, my goal remains the same: to translate complex ideas into engaging, accessible, and impactful learning experiences.

​

I have designed and developed more than 100 online learning modules and countless multimedia learning resources, courses, videos, assessments, and professional development programs. My work spans instructional design, learning experience design, educational technology, accessibility, faculty development, learning management systems, multimedia production, and AI-enhanced learning solutions.

​

For sixteen years at the San Diego County Office of Education, I helped pioneer online learning and technology-enabled professional development for educators. From helping build a dedicated educational media production team to leading digital learning initiatives as an Instructional Designer and Project Manager, I partnered with teachers and administrators to expand access to innovative learning opportunities and meaningful technology integration.

More recently, my work has focused on healthcare education, where I collaborate with surgeon editorial teams and subject matter experts to design competency-based learning experiences for medical professionals. From curriculum design and assessment development to scriptwriting, multimedia production, and course deployment, I enjoy bringing together pedagogy, technology, and creativity to support mastery in high-stakes learning environments.

What excites me most is the intersection of learning science, emerging technology, and human potential. Whether exploring artificial intelligence, developing immersive learning experiences, improving accessibility, or helping educators embrace new teaching strategies, I am continually looking for ways to make learning more engaging, effective, and inclusive.

I believe innovation is not simply about adopting new technology—it is about finding better ways to help people learn, grow, and succeed.
