VALUGEN

Medical Educationalist

2018 - Present

As a Medical Educationalist, I combine my backgrounds in teaching, technology, and film production in order to create enhanced learning experiences for surgeon learners. As a proponent of purposeful application of technologies for teaching, I am contantly looking for ways to generate opportunities for learners to practice their skills and techniques outside of the operating room.

  • Collaborate with surgeon editorial boards to define competencies for surgical procedures

  • Identify optimal teaching methodologies and outline curriculum

  • Guide board members through process of scripting and direct studio production

  • Manage post-production process as well as perform editing, animation, and graphics production

  • Assist in course deployment and consult on appropriate associated technologies
